This committee plans a wide range of events open to members of all ages. Over the years, we have invited interesting speakers, attended theatrical productions, both local and farther afield; we’ve enjoyed potluck or progressive suppers, game nights, and attended seasonal events such as the Six Nations PowWow, planned our own Hallowe’en costume party, various Christmas festivities, and Winter Fest, to name a few.  A highlight is often a weekend getaway in the fall to Frankenmuth, Bala’s Cranberry Festival, Goderich, Prince Edward County, or Niagara-on-the-Lake, among others. This year’s getaway was to the Port Stanley area, and longer trips were taken to Portugal and Ireland.  Wonderful memories, friendships, and mutual interests are formed and nurtured as we travel, play, learn, and worship together.
