SHM is a non-governmental agency in the Dominican Republic providing support to people outside the Sosua area, located on the northern part of the island. They offer support to expectant moms at the Pregnancy Education Centre and a variety of programs at the community centre in the village of Lomos de Los Chivos

• ‘I am Different’ girls program (breaking the cycle of poverty and prostitution)
• ‘I am Different’ moms program (healing broken relationships within families)
• Boys’ mentoring program

We support their ministry through our Soup Sunday fundraiser and sponsorship of 2 foster children.
